Employer comments regarding MCS graduates they hired between December of 2004 and August of 2005. Based on a Survey sent out by the MCS Program at UW-Whitewater:

"(Individual's name) is very intelligent and extremely eager to learn. He has been a great addition to our staff and has a bright future ahead."

"Rock Solid Developer ."

"Developer is lacking motivation and drive to be a top-notch professional".

"Individual hired was very well versed in the realm of technology, willing to learn, a value to our team. The understanding that the end users aren't MCS/MIS trained and have the same aptitude has been a challenge. Teamwork has been a growth opportunity as well."

"We are always looking for VB.Net Programmers so the more quality ones you can produce, the more we will hire."

"(Individual's name) was trained in COBOL development and adapted very well".

These comments help the faculty and Advisory Board identify and correct gaps in the curriculum. Assessments are done every 2-3 years. The MCS curriculum is modified approximately every three years to keep up with changes in technology and the workplace.
